September 2nd: Part 4 (9
Synopsis
Kurapika going on the offensive
As he charges up his Nen, Uvogin happily says that killing people is so addictive and denying them revenge gives him the most pleasure. He unleashes a punch and sends of flurry of rocks toward Kurapika, who quickly jumps back and sends out his Chain Jail. Uvogin barely leaps away from the chain's strike and recognizes that it's infused with an incredible amount of Nen. As he dodges Kurapika's chain throws, he tells himself that offense is the best defense and quickly lunges forward, punching Kurapika hard in his left arm.
Uvogin is confident that the strike did damage, but Kurapika flings his chain toward Uvogin before crashing into the side of a cliff. Having barely dodged the attack, Uvogin is impressed that Kurapika still had the energy to strike back after being punched. He tells himself that Kurapika's left arm is broken, but as Kurapika stands up and easily moves the arm, Uvogin is left in disbelief and wonders how he could have infused so much Nen in his chains (something only a Manipulator or Conjurer could have done) and also reinforced his left arm enough to block the punch (something only an Enhancer could have done).
Kurapika insulting Uvogin's strength
Kurapika bluntly asks if Uvogin's punch is the best he can do, causing Uvogin to chuckle and reply that it was only 20% of his strength. He then says that he will use 50%, suddenly dashing toward Kurapika and throwing a strong right punch. However, Kurapika quickly dodges and appears right behind him, punching him in the back of the head and kicking him hard in the back. As Uvogin angrily reels from the attack, Kurapika jumps into the air and double kicks Uvogin in the back. Uvogin tries to retaliate with a strike, but Kurapika quickly jumps away and mocks him by guessing what he would have said next.
Kurapika tells him to stop wasting his time and use his full power. Uvogin becomes serious and suddenly yells out as his aura spikes all around him. Kurapika recognizes the intensity of his aura, and Uvogin slams his fist into the ground, causing a cloud of dust and rubble to envelop the area. At the moment Kurapika no longer senses his aura and realizes that he's using In, Uvogin suddenly appears behind him and punches Kurapika's left arm again as he attempts to block the strike. This time, however, the arm is clearly broken by the punch as Kurapika is sent flying into the air.
Kurapika capturing Uvogin with Chain Jail
Uvogin is completely confident that he shattered Kurapika's arm, saying that no exposed flesh is strong enough to stop his Big Bang Impact. He tells Kurapika that the punch was supposed to break his backbone, praising his quickness and awareness in the cloud of dust. Kurapika replies that he was surprised Uvogin could use In, realizing that he must have used it to erase all signs of his attack. As Kurapika reveals that he can also use In, Uvogin uses Gyo and suddenly finds himself wrapped in Kurapika's Chain Jail.
Kurapika recognizes his use of Gyo before landing on the ground and revealing that his chain is conjured out of Nen, which allows him to make it invisible. Uvogin realizes that Kurapika always had his chain conjured so that people would think they were actual chains. Kurapika confirms this and adds that if he pretended to be a Manipulator with real chains, his opponents would only look out for chains that they could see. He reveals that the chain was around Uvogin before he made his bluff. Uvogin then feels a jolt through his entire body, and Kurapika says that the capture phase is complete.
