September 2nd: Part 3 (9
Synopsis
Using their Beatle-07 phones in different places around the city, Gon reports no sign of the targets at point A, Leorio does the same at point B, and Killua the same at point C. After waiting for four hours, they come back together and Killua points out that they shouldn't expect thieves wanted by the Mafia to appear in public, adding that the Phantom Troupe may not even be in the city anymore. Leorio reminds them that the Hunter Website is charging 
100 million for information on the group, and Killua guesses that it would cost even more for details on each member.
Gon says that they will have to find the Troupe members on their own, and Leorio suggests going door-to-door, but Killua replies that it wouldn't work with only three of them. Leorio asks if Kurapika has answered his phone yet, but Killua guesses that he turned it off. Leorio is certain that Kurapika would have more information on the Troupe, but Killua says that he would have to be willing to share it with them. Leorio is left confused, and Killua adds that Kurapika probably doesn't want their help in fighting the Troupe since he would have called if he did. Gon assures them that they will be able to contact Kurapika when they really need his help and Kurapika will do the same if he's in trouble. After Leorio and Killua agree, the three decide to check their home codes to see if they received any tips.
Uvogin and Kurapika preparing to fight
In the Gordeau Desert, Uvogin is seen urinating and finally clearing his system of the spotted leech eggs. He apologizes to Kurapika for taking so long, and when Kurapika readies his Nen, Uvogin does the same and then asks who he is, saying that he senses incredible determination in his Nen. Kurapika says that he first needs to answer his question, removing his tabard and asking Uvogin if he remembers the people he has killed. Uvogin replies that he remembers the ones who leave an impression, realizing that Kurapika must be doing this to avenge someone. Kurapika replies that he is avenging the Kurta Clan, but Uvogin doesn't recognize the name.
Kurapika explains that they lived in the Lukso Province and that the Troupe attacked them five years ago for their Scarlet Eyes. Uvogin again doesn't recognize the term and asks if it's a kind of jewel. He adds that while he doesn't remember, he would have been there since he was in the Troupe five years ago. Kurapika asks him what he thinks about when he kills people who haven't wronged him, and Uvogin simply replies that he thinks about nothing. As Kurapika's eyes widen, he calls Uvogin scum and tells him to pay for his sins with his life. Uvogin squints his eyes in anger and suddenly unleashes his Nen for the coming fight.

- While hunting Phantom Troupe members, Chrollo Lucilfer appears (facing away) around the point where Gon is searching; he is not recognized for not being on the bounty hunting list handed out by the Mafia.
